September 28th Happy Birthday Papa Ray

Today is Papa Ray's birthday :)
Noah is so fortunate to be able to spend his day with Grandma and Papa while Mommy is at school. I love hearing how he plays in the playroom, happily going from toy to toy entertaining himself. He'll have friends there to play with again next week, Grandma is feeling well enough to return back to work early!

Noah slept through the night last night, second time in a row this week! I think he is taking pity on his mama after hearing about the crazy class she is subbing in. Or maybe it's due to the fact that since he has switched to taking one long (2 1/2 to 3 hours!) nap instead of two smaller ones he finds it easier to sleep through the night.
I don't know if it was intentional or not but I heard his lullaby seahorse turn on twice last night, but he never made a peep.

Some may view this as bad parenting...but I find it hilarious that he will sit and watch Toy Story, happily eating his organic veggie puffs - straight out of the bag like a big boy! Too funny.

It's so cute to see him reach in the bag without taking his eyes off of the TV, take out a puff and shove it in his mouth. :)

Collins Family (Sequel baby 18 weeks!)

We finally took the pictures I meant to take when Noah was 12 months. You would think with how much I point the camera at him he wouldn't have the deer in the headlights look in our family picture. LOL But at least he warmed up for his solo shots!

September 20th 13 months/Oreos

In celebration of Noah turning 13 months today James gave Noah a bit of his favorite cookie treat - milk softened Oreos (yuck!)
Noah took after his Daddy and thought it was awesome - and messy.

Sept 19th Noah loves peaches

I did a photo shoot at Smith's family farm today and brought home some yummy fresh fruit. Noah thought the peaches were delicious!

Sept 18th Noah's silly new noise

Noah has been making this silly noise lately, its like "duoy duoy duoy." Funny guy.

September 16th Boxes are fun toys

I brought some boxes home from school for when we move, Noah thought they were a great new toy for him to play with!

September 15th Bubble bath

Noah had his first "bubble" bath today. He definitely didn't think it was as cool as all the bubbles at the little gym, but he still enjoyed splashing around.

September 14th Big boy

Noah is getting so good at moving around, and quickly! I LOVE the way he crawls the 'right' way so quickly and how he now pushes his self into the sitting position and can quickly take off again. I know some kids learn to do that at a much younger age but I think with our tile floor and his lovely baby chunk he was content to just chill. But now that he is a lean mean crawling machine he loves to get around, pull his self up to stand, and 'side walk' against the couches. He is getting really good at it! :)

Noah has such a personality, watching him play is so much fun.
This morning at Barnes and Noble Noah was crawling around the children's section SO fast, and he loved seeing and touching all the books. So stinking cute!

September 10th Garage sale and water park

We had a garage sale this morning, Noah was such a good boy. He just hung out and puttered around the garage in his walker. Later that afternoon we went to a nearby park that has a water play area thinking Noah would like it, but he didn't. I think it was too close to nap time and he didn't like how the wind would blow water in his face. He thought this ride on toy was pretty cool though. He fell asleep in the car on the way home almost immediately.


I felt sequel baby kicking while I was giving Noah his night time bottle, it was very sweet. I love my two babies.

September 9th Happy Anniversary!

Mommy and Daddy have been married 5 years today!
Funny little family picture, James is holding up the spoon (?) to try to get Noah to look up - while Noah is looking straight at the camera LOL In just 5 short months we'll be a family of 4!

September 6th Toilets, Little Gym, and milk

Noah's newest trick: he can crawl into the bathroom, stand up and flush the toilet. Cute......

He had lots of fun at the Little Gym tonight. He is finally crawling the "right" way just as often as he army crawls, and he did a ton of 'side' walking up across the couch and ottoman this evening.




Noah and Daddy milk 'toasted' to a speedy recovery for Grandma's upcoming surgery!

September 5th Labor Day fun

We had a nice family day, got Noah some new jammies, had lunch and went to the park! We have been busy getting the house in tip top shape, it was just put on the market for sale. We're not sure if we'll be in a new house before after Sequel baby is born, but it will be great to have more space for less payment.

Noah had a super rough night last night, waking up very mad that he couldn't breath through his nose. Seeing him crying in frustration is so sad. :(
But I'm hoping the worst is over, he seems to be feeling much better this morning, he woke up talkative and happy. :)
