August 31st Big boy rocker, allergies

Papa Jim and Nama Barb gave this beautiful Giants rocking chair to Noah for his birthday. I could tell before James brought it home how much James liked it because he texted me 3 times about it during the day hehe. Noah is going to be enjoying this chair for many years to come! Thanks Papa and Nama!!

Poor little guy and I are not feeling well today, I don't know if we were just both hit with allergies at the same time or if we caught a cold. He is super stuffy, red watery eyes and he didn't sleep well last night and it took him a long time to fall asleep for his nap today.

August 28th Sundae Funday

We had a nice little family day today. We went to dinner, where the manager - a friend of mine from high school gave Noah a sundae and had the workers sing happy birthday to him. In true Noah style he cried, which was hilarious. But he felt much better after a bite of sundae!

Noah 'escaped' while James was changing his diaper and went into the ball pit butt naked! He thought it was hysterical!

Noah loves getting his teeth brushed. He's working on three more, you can see the white spots but who knows when they will actually break through....

August 27th Sweet sleeper

Noah used to prefer sleeping on his side, but recently he has been falling asleep this way, usually with his butt even higher up in the air. So stinking cute. I attribute it to the fact that now he likes to crawl around and stand in his crib talking until he literally falls asleep.

August 26th Pants on the ground

Noah is getting so skinny he may need to start wearing a belt! These are 12 months shorts (although they do seem to run much bigger than all his other shorts) and he was crawling right out of them!

August 25th Hey now

I'm so not used to seeing Noah be able to reach up this far, crazy!

August 23rd Dr. Appt and gym class

Noah had his one year check up today, he's only in the 10th percentile of height at 29.5 inches tall, but in the 50th percentile of weight at 20lbs 3oz.

He also went to his very first Little Gym class today! He loved seeing all the other babies, and thought climbing and crawling after bouncy balls was great fun - it sure will be fun to see him walk and run around for the other activities when he learns how.

August 22nd Ball pit fun

Noah sure does love to climb in and out of his ball pit.

Although he is better on the going in part than the going out...

August 20th Birthday Boy!!

Our big boy is ONE today! We had a great day, the party was very fun and Noah had a blast with the ball pit with the other kids.

August 19th Birthday Presents

I bought Noah this inflatable ball pit for his birthday, partially for the party, and mostly because it is pure awesomeness. He loves it! He loves crawling into it (and out of it, which makes me nervous because he does a face plant almost every time) and he loves pushing the balls around. (Only half the balls we have are in there in these pics).
I also took video of him laughing and pushing the balls around, I'll post it when I find the time. Back to party planning!

August 18th Chillin'

Since Noah likes to watch his Baby Einstein videos in this spot I thought I would bring out his leather baseball chair to make him more comfortable. He was diggin' it.


Unfortunately I can't leave the chair in the living room unattended because he thinks it is fun to crawl up and stand on the seat. Not cool little dude, not cool!

August 17th Well, Noah doesn't like

cake. The kid eats pickles and doesn't make a face at blue cheese or tuna - but make him eat cake and it's like we're torturing him.

August 16th Mmmmmmmmm

Cake.

I definitely don't have a future in cake decorating, but I had fun making the 'smash cake' for Noah's birthday pictures tomorrow. He was very eager to touch it tonight so I think we're going to get some great, messy, pictures tomorrow!

August 15th Noah's favorite new spot

to watch Baby Einstein is on the bottom shelf of our entertainment built in.
He will stand there through the entire thing!

August 14th Sleep over pictures

Noah spent the night at Papa Jim and Nama Barb's house last night. He was quite the busy boy! He went for a walk, got to see the cats, took a sink bath and even watched a cool new movie! Barbara took lots of great pictures, I had lots for the blog :)







They said he was such a good boy, and didn't cry when they put him down to bed. Although he did stand in the crib and wave at them before going to sleep, silly boy! :)
